Roaster Oven

I purchased one of these for a Christmas gift last year for friends and they loved it as it provided the perfect item to help with the holiday meals. My cousins do a lot of things for their church in a food manner and they loved it and were happy to have it, using it within the first week of getting it. Both parties say that while it might look hard to clean, the opposite is the case.Great item and the price is super.Tom

Nice for large recipes

I haven't used my roaster for roasting yet, but that isn't what I bought it for. I always have liked preparing large recipes in my slow cooker for freezing but was frustrated by the size limitations. I purchased the roaster so I could prepare even larger recipes of our favorites such as pulled pork, chili, soups and stews. It should also come in handy when we have large groups of visitors. I liked the design of the Hamilton Beach, especially the buffet pans, and have found it meets my expectations.

Good Alternative to Range Oven

I've done roasts, casseroles and desserts in this oven and have been very pleased with the results. Perfect when you don't want to heat your large range oven or when an additional oven is needed. I have not as yet used the inserts so cannot comment on those. I definitely recommend this oven.
